New Tang Dynasty Foot Spa ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website tangfeet.com (the "Service") and provides in-person massage and foot reflexology services in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to schedule and service your appointments:
- Contact Information: Your name, phone number, and email address when you book an appointment.
- Appointment Details: Services requested, scheduled date and time, preferred therapist, and optional notes.
- Address: Only if you provide it for loyalty/marketing opt-in.
- Verification Codes: One-time codes sent via SMS or email to verify phone and email ownership.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel your appointments.
- To send you appointment confirmations, reminders (24 hours and 2 hours before your appointment), and cancellation notices.
- To verify your identity when you interact with our online booking system.
- To maintain internal customer records for repeat-visit history.
SMS Messaging Consent: By checking the "I agree to receive SMS notifications" box during booking, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from us about your appointments. Message frequency is approximately 1-5 messages per appointment cycle. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP for help. We do not sell or share SMS/phone data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only with the following service providers who help us operate our booking system:
- Twilio, Inc. — SMS delivery (appointment notifications and verification codes).
- Resend.com — Email delivery (appointment confirmations and receipts).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — Website hosting and database storage.
- Google Maps — Address autocomplete (only when you type an address).
Each provider receives only the minimum data needed to perform their service and is contractually bound to protect your information.
4. Your Rights and Choices
- Opt out of SMS: Reply STOP to any SMS we send you. Standard opt-out keywords (STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT) are all supported.
- Opt out of email: Email us at [email protected] to unsubscribe from non-appointment emails.
- Access, update, or delete your data: Contact us by phone or email and we will comply within 30 days.
- California residents: You have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what data we hold and to request deletion.
5. Data Retention
We retain appointment records for as long as you remain a customer, plus 3 years for tax and regulatory purposes. Inactive customer records may be deleted upon written request.
6. Security
We store data in encrypted Cloudflare databases with access restricted to authorized spa staff. SMS messages are transmitted through Twilio's secure infrastructure. We do not store payment card information — all credit card transactions are processed in person at our physical location using terminals supplied by our payment processor.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
